Project . My Education, My Job, My Future

Project is a result of cooperation of 8 schools, each from different countries with similar needs and mutual objectives to be met  during the realisation of the project. Miejski Zespol Szkol – Poland – faces the problem of early school leaving of students which is  quite visible in our town and local society. The project will help the students to get to know their predispositions and abilities to find the right and to choose a proper career path  as well as it will equip the students with such skills as writing CVs in Polish and foreign  languages (English, Spanish and German). Students will find out about different jobs and possibilities to acquire adequate skills in order to find a proper job, set up their own business or continue education further on. The project will also help to improve their basic skills in mathematics (accountancy skills), Polish (reading, writing, filling official documents), entrepreneurship and planning their own education paths. Portuguese partner- wants to involve students into active job search due to high unemployment rate in Portugal. The teachers and students will explore the Internet resources in order to find proper job positions and how to plan their education in order to be effective in job search. Students need to find out how to promote their skills and abilities. Writing CVs and learning basic maths skills regarding accountancy and starting their own companies will also help to equip students with abilities to be innovative and competitive in employment market. Student needs to learn how to make video commercial, designing websites and advertising posters. 

 

Portuguese partner- wants to involve students into active job search due to high unemployment rate in Portugal. The teachers and 

students will explore the Internet resources in order to find proper job positions and how to plan their education in order to be 

effective in job search. Students need to find out how to promote their skills and abilities. Writing CVs and learning basic maths skills 

regarding accountancy and starting their own companies will also help to equip students with abilities to be innovative and 

competitive in employment market. Student needs to learn how to make video commercial, designing websites and advertising 

posters.  

 

The Cypriot partner – realises that owning a company is the best for present economic situation in Cyprus. The school sees the necessity to promote production of local products such as oil, soap, foods. Students need to find out how to set up their own businesses, how to promote their products and learn to deal with day-to-day duties of a company owner – accountancy, filling forms, promoting and selling goods and production of the goods. 

 

The Spanish partner – seeks their role in introduction of the touristic sector to their students. Students need to find out how to promote their region and recognise all the possibilities into tourism such as kind of sports, monuments, restaurants, wine cellars, regional agriculture. Teachers and students will explore all kind of job opportunities related to tourism and analyse educative necessities required for working in touristic area. The needs also involve improving communicative English language skills and ICT skills. 

 

The Italian partner – requires finding out more about the history of some of the past professions related to the region they live. The school is interested in introducing agriculture, trade and cattle market traditions to their students. School also sees its role in promoting ecological issues to preserve natural resources and implement those eco rules in companies’ policy. The school has some students from different countries e.i. Romania and China so the need to assimilate them with Italian culture, history and language.

Improving language skills in English and Spanish is also necessity of international cooperation for Italian partner. 

 

The Lithuanian partner – first time in EU project – requires to strengthen its students’ self-esteem, self-confidence and equip them with skills such as effective job seeking, language and ICT skills. Students need to know opportunities in education and work sector in order to plan their educational paths. Teachers and students want to learn about disappearing professions in their countries and implement good practices from other partners.

 

The Latvian partner-believes that letting students know what possibilities of employment are in Europe will enable to understand the emigration process in their country. Students need to polish their language skills and basic skills accountancy and literacy and that may trigger the process of creating jobs in their town. School wants to strengthen students’ opportunities in work market and familiarise them with different enterprises in their region as well as help students to plan their future related to work searching and starting their own enterprises competitive with the existing ones. 

 

The Romanian partner – deals with emigration issues and wants to explain the changing work market in Europe. A high rate of early school leavers determines actions in order to stop the process. Students need to explore more attractive professional paths to become more competitive in Romanian employment system. Knowing how to set up own business is necessary to be competitive and learning from other partner experiences will help motivate students to plan their professional careers.
