Arrival

All teachers will be transported directly from Larnaca’s International Airport to their hotel. All students will be welcomed by the hosting families at the airport.

7:30-8:15        Official welcome at school by the Principal of our school and the

Association of our school’s parents

                        Breakfast at school

                        Traditional dances by the students of our school

8:15-9:00        Workshop - Presentation by the Cypriot students

9:00-9:20        Break

9:20-10:50      Workshop – Manufacture of oil soaps by the Cypriot students

10:50-11:10    Break

11:10-12:40    Workshop – Demonstration of traditional basket making

                        Guided tour at school

12:40-12:50    Break

12:50-13:35    Teachers: project meeting

                        Students: project meeting

13:35               Departure of teachers and students from school

16:00               Teachers: Workshop – Visits at Cypriot traditional workshops

situated in the old town of Larnaca

20:00               Teachers: Welcome Dinner at the traditional tavern “Militzis” by the sea (The cost for the dinner will be covered by Regional Gymnasium of Livadia)

7:45                 Departure to Kampia to visit “Riverland” (Greenhouse-Farm)

9:00-11:00      Documentation, exploration, filming documentary on Organic Farm (Riverland farm)                  

12:00-13:30    Documentation, exploration, filming documentary on Nicosia old town, the island’s capital

13:30-16:00    Free time in a pedestrian street in Nicosia for lunch (Nicosia Center)

17:00               Return to school and free afternoon
